Has anyone had experiences of bullying and harassment at work?
Q. Have you ever been victimised by a vindictive boss? Ever been hounded into reluctant resignation, been picked on or singled out? Had disciplinary action taken or employment terminated for completely unfair reasons, or been subject to continual nit-picking fault finding? Have you had to leave due to bullying/harassment by bosses or co-workers? Please share your experiences.

A. I am returning to work tomorrow following 19 weeks' sick leave with a reactive depression caused by the bullying of my boss. I had 4 weeks' sick leave last year caused by her bullying. This time I lodged a complaint using the grievance procedure that ran to 7830 words and 82 paragraphs, citing witnesses and giving exact occurrence details from notes I had carefully made during the preceding 18 months of Hell. All of the things the questioner lists had happened to me, except for the termination of employment, but my boss had me one stage from it. I had part of the complaint upheld and part dismissed, so I went to appeal.
